Perhaps we can add a bit more here. We've tried lots of different brake pads in the front of the 748 / 916 bikes. They run the classic Brembo 2 pin caliper. 30/ 34mm piston set up. Used on lots of bikes. 

So, we've tried the $479 Brembo Zo4s. Amazing. Next Level. And $479 per side. And got them in stock at a discount if that's your bag. HMU.

Subtle initial bite, huge and progressive stopping power, great feel at the lever. Its Superbike Level Brakes when you add Brembo race discs and a master cylinder.

If you're still wanting similar braking performance at a fraction of the price, try these.

More aggressive initial bite than the Z04s, very similar everywhere else, say the National Level riders who have compared them back to back.

And about a set of race tires cheaper too.
