This crankcase breather replaces the crappy plastic ones.
Its a race spec one with no reeds inside.
This does away with the factory steel one way reeds which can fracture and fall into the motor.
We run a longer larger diameter hose from this breather up to the tail piece and fit a large breather/ catch bottle there.
The theory is that the larger volume inside the hose and breather acts as a larger crankcase volume and lets the pistons move easier. ( Usually they are compressing air underneath the pistons into a tiny crankcase area as they move. ) So less internal drag, less wasted bhp + more go.
It al helps.
Replace that leaky one.
Esp if its plastic.
They break in use, ya know.
Grab a new alloy gasket for under it for $3 too. Sorted.
